Fees & Insurance

Fees at the Connections Clinic are based on recommendations from our professional associations. Accepted forms of payment include email money transfer (EMT) and credit card. You will be issued a receipt to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement and tax purposes. Note that we do not offer direct billing at this time.

All services are billed at $235/hr. This fee for service has been recommended from our professional psychology association.

Clients can self-refer for services. However, please check with your insurance provider regarding coverage requirements, as some insurance companies require a referral from a physician for reimbursement purposes.

Pricing Information

Initial Consultation | $235/hr.

1 hour intake interview to gather a detailed history and to understand the client's presenting concerns
For assessment services: Discussion of the type of assessment required to answer the referral question
For therapy services: Discussion of initial steps of a treatment plan

Child/Adolescent Therapy Services or Parenting Support Session | $235/hr.

1 hour session
Child/youth sessions aim to help your child better understand and process their thoughts and feelings
Child/youth sessions can also consist of direct skill teaching and problem solving
Psychologist will work with you/your child to determine the best approach to intervention based on their goals and needs
Parenting support sessions can include discussion of emotion coaching, co-regulation, and/or behaviour management strategies to aid parents in better understanding and supporting their child

Child/Adolescent ADHD Assessment | $2100-$2400

1-2 sessions (plus initial consultation session)
ADHD assessments include:
- Observations of child
- Administration of tests assessing cognitive functioning and attention
- Parent and teacher questionnaires (and sometimes child self-report questionnaires) assessing symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity/impulsivity, and executive functioning
- Teacher consultation
- Review of background history and report cards
- Feedback session to review results and recommendations
- Copy of assessment report

Adult ADHD Assessment | $1800-$2100

1-2 sessions (plus initial consultation session)
Adult ADHD assessments include:
- Clinical interviews and observations
- Self- and observer report questionnaires assessing ADHD symptoms and executive functioning
- Review of background history and any other relevant documentation
- Feedback session to review results and recommendations
- Copy of assessment report

Child/Adolescent Psychoeducational Assessment | $2800-$3200

2-3 testing sessions (plus initial consultation session)
Psychoeducational assessments include:
- Clinical interviews and observations
- Administration of tests assessing cognitive functioning and academic skills
- Parent and teacher questionnaires (and sometimes child self-report questionnaires) assessing child's social, emotional, and behavioural functioning (this can include assessing of ADHD related symptoms and executive functioning and/or anxiety/mood symptoms)
- Review of background history and report cards
- Feedback session to review results and recommendations
- Copy of assessment report

Child/Adolescent Mental Health Assessment | $1700-$2200

1-2 sessions (plus initial consultation session)
Mental health assessments include:
- Clinical interviews and observations
- Parent and teacher questionnaires (and sometimes child self-report questionnaires) assessing symptoms of anxiety and/or mood
- Teacher consultation
- Review of background history and report cards
- Feedback session to review results/recommendations
- Copy of assessment report
